Scope

This project was to assist an architect to provide data of a historically important vaulted ceiling for Scottish Heritage. The purpose of the laser multi-scan job was to accurately survey and record the ceiling cracks and painted ceiling for restoration.

Benefits

The high vaulted ceiling was fully surveyed and laser scanned in a very short time without the need for scaffold or any other high level working. The short survey and scan time allowed minimum disruption to the church’s use and other concurrent restoration activities.
