Digital Photogrammetry
Digital Photogrammetry is a long established technology that allows calibrated and co-ordinated digital images to be measured from.
We offer the HAZMAP system which allows the user to roam the plant inspecting plant configuration, taking measurements or routing pipe work through the real world without the need for an expensive as-built model.
Existing model data can be readily superimposed onto the harvested images for design review, clash checking and HAZOP studies or even Asset Management.
A series of 8 images are taken using the Camera Indexer and then these images are stitched together to form a Panoramic Image with extraordinary viewing abilities, it just like being there!
Whilst navigating and jumping from location to location precise dimensions can be extracted directly from the calibrated digital images.
Highly detailed images can be called forth for precise inspection and plant viewing from many dissimilar locations, a very good tool for Asset Management.
